The Warriors had their modest three-game winning streak halted Saturday, falling 7-6 at unranked Mercyhurst. ESU went scoreless over the final 21 minutes of the game while recoding its lowest scoring total of the season.
St. Leo (-4)
It’s been a hard fall for the Lions, who closed the season with four straight losses after a school-record 13-0 start. The toughest blow came Saturday with a 10-7 loss to Florida Tech that left St. Leo out of the SSC’s four-team postseason tournament.

As the only undefeated team in league play, the Bears control their own destiny in the ECC’s regular season race. NYIT extended its winning streak to seven games with blowout victories over Queens (N.Y.) and UDC. Wednesday’s game against second-place Mercy could determine the top seed for the ECC tournament.

The Falcons are coming back to earth after an 8-1 start, having now lost four of their last five. The latest two setbacks came in lopsided losses to LIU Post and top-ranked Le Moyne. The defending champs raced to a 12-1 halftime lead and outshot the Falcons 35-8 in Saturday’s rout in Waltham.
