HOT
East Stroudsburg (+3)
It’s already been a record-setting season for the Warriors, who have set a program record for wins in a season. ESU entered the poll for the first time just three weeks ago and is now knocking on the door of the top ten. With two games remaining in the regular season, the Warriors have already secured their first PSAC Tournament appearance since 2011.
West Chester (+3)
The weekly yo-yo that is the West Chester Rams continues. Last week, WCU was on the “Not” list after sliding six spots. This week, the Rams are back on the “Hot” side after posting two lopsided PSAC wins over Shippensburg and Seton Hill. Despite the ups-and-downs, West Chester is in position to tie for the conference lead when it hosts East Stroudsburg on Wednesday.
NOT
Pace (-3)
Pace continues to contend in the NE-10, but dropped a 17-10 decision against No. 14 New Haven last week. The Setters (11-3) bounced back with a narrow 13-12 win over Franklin Pierce and have already set a new program record for victories in a season.
NEW
Indiana (Pa.)
The Crimson Hawks have won six of their last seven and climbed to second place in the competitive PSAC. IUP has put itself in position to challenge for the league’s regular season crown and faces No. 11 East Stroudsburg Saturday.
Colorado Mesa
The Mavericks have enjoyed a solid season and been among the teams also considered for the Top 20. With wins in eight of their last nine, Mesa now breaks into the poll. All three losses have come against the Rocky Mountain heavyweights, Lindenwood and Regis (twice).
OUT
Mercyhurst
The defending PSAC champs have lost two of their last three games, including a 14-13 overtime loss at IUP last Tuesday. The Lakers rebounded with a win over Bloomsburg Saturday, and can re-establish some momentum with games against Slippery Rock and Lock Haven this week.
Slippery Rock
The Rock started the season with seven straight wins, but has struggled recently against the rest of the PSAC. SRU has lost three of its last five, including a 9-8 loss at Millersville last Saturday.
