The U.S. women’s senior team is the defending Federation of International Lacrosse world champion, having won the most recent championship in 2017. U.S. team head coach Jenny Levy, a two-time NCAA championship coach at North Carolina, is building towards the 2021 FIL World Championship, which will be hosted by US Lacrosse at Towson University in 2021.
The U.S. roster features 11 former World Cup champions, including three-time Tewaaraton winner Taylor Cummings and two-time Tewaaraton winner Katie Haus out of Maryland, and eight current collegiate players, led by the 2018 Tewaaraton winner out of Boston College, Sam Apuzzo.
The U.S. women’s U19 team is in training for the 2019 FIL Women’s U19 World Championship, which will be held this coming August in Canada. Led by head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller, a seven-time NCAA championship coach at Northwestern, the U19 team consists of 34 players that range in age from juniors in high school to sophomores in college.
The U.S. women’s national team trains and plays using best-in-class products provided by Nike (apparel and footwear), Brine (equipment), STX (equipment), SISU Guard (mouthguards), The Pearl by Guardian (balls) and DJO (sports braces).
