The Raiders won their second consecutive state championship with a 12-7 win over Lake Highland Prep. They never trailed, despite losing starting goalie David Madrill to an injury in the second quarter. Back-up Ryan Leahy finished with nine saves. 2. The Woodlands (Texas), 22-0
The top-seeded Highlanders won the Texas South District tournaments by beating Kingwood and Kinkaid last week. They have a first-round bye in the Super Regionals and play in the final Sunday with a THSLL Final Four berth on the line. Previous: 2
3. Lambert (Ga.), 16-1
The Longhorns beat South Forsyth (Ga.) 20-2 to end the regular season with 10 consecutive wins. They begin the state playoffs on Wednesday with a game against Parkview (7-10). Previous: 3
4. Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.), 12-4
The Crusaders begin their run at another state title when the playoffs begin this week. The Crusaders have a first-round bye and play in the second round on Friday against Millbrook. Previous: 4
5. Centennial (Ga.), 15-3
The Knights finished the regular season with wins over Lakeside-DeKalb and Westminster. They came from behind in the latter to win 12-11 in the final seconds. Thomas Watts and Austin Wise led with four goals each. Eric Cecere had 12 saves and Luke Sadd won 17 of 23 faceoffs. In the 22-0 win over Lakeside-DeKalb, Nicky Solomon, Colin Hall and Luke Sadd all had three goals. The Knights play a first-round game in the state playoffs on Thursday. Previous: 5
6. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 16-0
The Eagles beat Dallas Jesuit 7-5 to finish the regular season undefeated. They have earned a bye into the first-round of the Super Regionals and play in the finals on Sunday with a berth into the state tournament up for grabs. ESD will play the Kingwood-Austin High winner. Previous: 6
7. Weddington (N.C.), 15-1
The Warriors haven’t played since April 21 and still have another week off. They earned a first-round bye in the state playoffs and await the Marvin Ridge-Asheboro winner May 9. Previous: 7
8. Highland Park (Texas), 11-4
The Fighting Scots lost their regular-season finale to St. Mark’s (Texas) but still earned the North District’s No. 2 seed for a pass through district playoffs. They play Saturday in the first round of the Super Regionals against Cedar Park. Previous: 8
9. Louisville St. Xavier (Ky.), 13-3
The Tigers finished the regular season with a 13-12 overtime loss to Midwest-ranked Cincinnati St. Xavier. They are idle until Kentucky Scholastic League Lacrosse playoffs begin. Previous: 9
10. Ponte Vedra (Fla.), 19-2
The Sharks’ promising season ended in an upset in the second round of the Florida state play-in games with an 11-9 loss to Lake Mary, which went on to beat Bolles and advance to the state semifinals. 1. Culver Academy Prep (Ind.), 14-1
The Eagles extended their winning streak to 10 games last week with a 17-3 decision over Detroit Country Day (Mich.) on Friday and a 19-4 victory against Forest Hills Central (Mich.) on Saturday. Culver earned the No. 1 seed for the Midwest Lacrosse Challenge playoffs, which begin on Friday. Previous: 1

The Golden Bears’ perfect record was in jeopardy, but they came through in overtime to beat Cleveland St. Ignatius (Ohio), 8-7, on Friday. Senior Alex Rankin notched a hat trick in the tight victory, which followed an 18-1 romping of Gahanna Lincoln (Ohio) on Thursday. Previous: 2
3. Cathedral (Ind.), 10-3
The Irish survived a 9-8 overtime decision against Culver Varsity (Ind.) on Wednesday, thanks to Griffin Gallant’s game-winner. It was their second straight overtime game, both wins. Cathedral then had its match with Zionsville (Ind.) postponed until May 22 because of rain. The Irish were set to play Noblesville (Ind.) on Monday night. Previous: 3
4. Brother Rice (Mich.), 8-3
Coming off its huge upset of nationally-ranked Victor (N.Y.), Brother Rice nearly had a letdown, but Jack Kelly’s overtime goal lifted the Warriors to a 15-14 win over Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.) on April 25. The victory was followed by a 14-7 win over De La Salle (Mich.). Previous: 4
5. Cincinnati St. Xavier (Ohio), 11-3
The Bombers are out to a seven-game winning streak following a pair of victories last week. They defeated South-ranked Louisville St. Xavier in overtime by a 13-12 margin on Wednesday, and tree days later, they topped Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) 13-6. John Marrocco had a big week for St. X, scoring the game-winner against Louisville St. Xavier and had a seven-goal performance versus Olentangy Liberty. Previous: 5
6. MICDS (Mo.), 12-3
The Rams are in the midst of a challenging stretch, but continue to win games. They notched wins over Chaminade Prep (Mo.) and Webster Groves (Mo.) last week. MICDS has another big week ahead with contests against University Jesuit (Mo.) and New Trier (Ill.). Previous: 6
7. East Grand Rapids (Mich.), 9-1
East Grands Rapids has recovered since its loss against Rockford (Mich.), posting four wins in a row. Last week, the Pioneers defeated Spring Lake (Mich.) 17-1 and Cranbrook (Mich.) 20-4. Hub Hejna scored five goals and added seven assists against Cranbrook. Previous: 8
8. Detroit Catholic Central (Mich.), 7-3
The Shamrocks lost their only game last week, dropping a tough 15-14 overtime decision to Brother Rice (Mich.) in a rematch of the last three state title games. Senior Brennan Kamish scored four goals in a losing effort. Previous: 9
9. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 8-6
The Ramblers are back in the rankings after beating then-No. 10 New Trier (Ill.), 7-6, on Saturday in a repeat of last year’s state final win. Loyola’s six losses were against top teams in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast hotbeds, including three top 25 opponents, and four of those games were decided by one goal. Previous: NR

1. St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.), 15-2
The Wildcats celebrated Senior Day with a 17-6 win over Redwood (Calif.) on Saturday, as the Class of 2017 players combined for 13 of the goals. That followed an 18-1 victory over Sacred Heart Cathedral (Calif.). Ignatius wraps up the regular season this week at De LaSalle (Calif.) on Tuesday and at St. Francis (Calif.) on Wednesday. 2. Cherry Creek (Colo.), 12-1
The Bruins ran their win streak to 11 games with two more victories last week. After earning a 19-4 decision over Grandview (Colo.), Cherry Creek shut out Smoky Hill (Colo.), 14-0 on Friday. Asher Nolting finished with four goals and four assists against Grandview, and JT Simonton won 11 of 15 faceoffs. The Bruins face a big test against Mountain View (Colo.) on Tuesday. Previous: 3
3. Mountain Vista (Colo.), 10-3
The Golden Eagles came back refreshed from a nine-day layoff that followed a pair of notable wins over Torrey Pines (Calif.) and Regis Jesuit (Colo.). In their return to the field, they handled Highlands Ranch (Colo.) without problem for a 13-5 victory on Friday. Mountain Vista gets a chance to avenge its two in-state losses this week when it travels to Cherry Creek on Tuesday and Arapahoe on Friday. Previous: 5
4. Torrey Pines (Calif.), 14-4
The Falcons used a 3-0 run in the third quarter Thursday to erase a 6-5 deficit and held on for a 9-7 win over San Diego Section rival La Costa Canyon (Calif.), which was ranked No. 2 in the West last week. Makail Fraboni (Navy) came up big for Torrey Pines, registering 15 saves to preserve the win. The Falcons followed the next day with a Senior Night win over Carlsbad (Calif.). Previous: 6
5. La Costa Canyon (Calif.), 13-2
Last week started off well with a pair of dominant wins over San Dieguito (Calif.) and Canyon Crest (Calif.), but the Mavericks couldn’t keep the momentum going against then-ranked No. 6 Torrey Pines (Calif.). Their 11-game win streak came to a halt with a 9-7 loss to the Falcons on Friday, despite five goals from J.J. Stillstrop (Denver) and 13 saves from Ryan Winn. Previous: 2
6. San Ramon Valley (Calif.), 17-2
The Wolves outscored their two opponents 31-5 last week, including a 14-4 win over Acalanes (Calif.) on Saturday, but they slide down with a shakeup in results elsewhere in the region. They wrap up their regular season Friday at home against Monte Vista-Danville (Calif.). Previous: 4
7. Regis Jesuit (Colo.), 11-3
The Raiders went 3-0 last week, including notable in-state wins over Colorado Academy and Kent Denver, who are both 10-3. Regis held off a fourth-quarter comeback attempt by Kent to win 11-8 behind hat tricks from Jake Taylor and Quentin Birch and a dominant performance on the faceoff X by Joe Kassai. Taylor also had an assist and tallied four goals and a helper in a 13-2 win over Colorado. The Raiders close the regular season at Arapahoe (Colo.) on Tuesday. Previous: 7
8. Corona del Mar (Calif.), 15-2
The Sea Kings closed their regular season last week with a pair of wins against Tesoro and San Clemente. Their game against San Clemente was tied at 6 late in the fourth quarter, but Ryan Meckler tallied two of CdM’s final four goals to push the Sea Kings to an 11-7 win Saturday. 9. Loyola-Los Angeles (Calif.), 16-4
The Cubs rejoin the rankings after avenging an overtime loss to unbeaten Harvard-Westlake (Calif.) last week, collecting a 13-6 win at home April 25 in the regular-season finale. Loyola, which shares the Mission League title with Harvard, has one loss to a team that hasn’t been ranked this season and owns notable victories over Poway (Calif.) and Oak Park (Calif.). 10. Eastside Catholic (Wash.), 10-2
The Crusaders enter the rankings with help from Mercer Island (Wash.) upsetting previously-ranked Bellevue (Wash.) last week. Eastside is coming off a 15-11 win over Bainbridge Island (Wash.) on Friday and its two losses were both by one goal, only one coming against an in-state or even in-region foe. The Crusaders have won four straight since a loss to Skyline (Wash.), a streak that began with an eight-goal win over Mercer Island. Previous: NR
