Ty Xanders of Inside Lacrosse reported Sunday that Michigan offensive coordinator Justin Turri will be named the next head coach of St. John’s, ending a national search that began in early May.

Turri began his coaching career in 2014 at Providence and made stops with Army and Harvard before taking over the Michigan offense in 2018. This year, the Wolverines offense ranked No. 11 nationally with 14.07 goals per game.

Turri replaces Jason Miller, who resigned from the position on May 4 after 16 years leading the Red Storm. In 16 seasons, Miller’s teams compiled a record of 67-145, including a 2-12 mark in 2022.  The Red Storm went 20-71 in conference play under Miller.

The university has yet to announce the hiring.
