College Park is title town.

The Maryland Terrapins made it two straight years that one school took home both the men's and women's NCAA Division I championships. For the men, it was the end of a 42-year drought in which the Terps had made the title game numerous times, only to fail. For the women, it was vengence from a title game loss to North Carolina in 2016.

Our college championships package tells the stories of the two Maryland teams, from John Tillman's loose attitude and Matt Rambo's historic season, to Cathy Reese's 'We Matter' mantra instilled in her team. Also included are stories on Boston College's Kenzie Kent, Navy's Cinderella run and whether lacrosse should revive the dive.

Also in the July/August edition of US Lacrosse Magazine, a story on Team USA's effort to focus amid high expectations heading into the FIL World Cup next month. Captains Devon Wills and Sarah Bullard know nothing will be handed to them. In Fuel, we feature the growing lacrosse movement in Colombia.

In this edition, we celebrate this season's champions for the hard work and good fortune that enabled their success. But let's not forget to recognize those who may never experience the glory of a championship season or personal accolades.
