U.S. faceoff specialist Greg Gurenlian’s accolades are endless. The 2015 MLL MVP and six-time all-pro owns several professional faceoff records and now a gold medal. The Beast, who grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, will return to the City of Brotherly Love as a presenter at the US Lacrosse Convention in January.

The Pinch and Pop Exit

When you’re going for the pinch and pop, once you get the ball, you have two choices:

  • Catch it in tight, protecting your stick.

  • Pop it out with a stabbing motion. You want to pop it out far in front of you and then you’re off to the races. Don’t rake the ball on the turf.
