Joey Sankey has been challenged more than most these past few years. Sankey, North Carolina's all-time leading scorer, missed the better part of two seasons with multiple knee injuries — and a battle with testicular cancer.

But he prevailed. Sankey has been one of the toughest players on the field, and he's had to be. At 5 feet, 5 inches, he's had to hold his own in the game of lacrosse.

Now back to lacrosse as a member of the PLL's Redwoods, Sankey reflects on the past few years with Paul Carcaterra.
