NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association has tabbed three coaches for induction into the association’s Hall of Fame class for 2022. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place in November during the IWLCA Convention at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas.
The class of 2022 includes current Princeton University head coach, Chris Sailer, and former coaches Dorothy “Dotty” Hall (St. Lawrence) and Jan Hathorn (Washington & Lee). University of Florida head coach Mandee O’Leary is the chair of the IWLCA Hall of Fame committee that evaluates candidates and selects the honorees.
“The committee does an excellent job reviewing the credentials for every coach that has been nominated for the Hall of Fame,” said Liz Grote, President of the IWLCA and head coach at Bowdoin College. “Comparing coaches from different eras is a challenging task, and the committee takes that responsibility seriously. Dotty, Jan, and Chris are each outstanding coaches that have amassed a legacy of success and have served their student-athletes and the game with distinction. We are very eager to welcome them into the Hall of Fame this fall.”
Tickets for the 2022 IWLCA Awards Banquet and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will go on sale later this year and will remain available for purchase through November 11, 2022. If you are interested in purchasing a table or sponsoring this event please contact IWLCA Executive Director, Liz Robertshaw directly. The IWLCA Hall of Fame was established in May 2017 to recognize and honor outstanding career achievements by collegiate women's lacrosse coaches. The class of 2022 will be the fifth class of honorees to be inducted.
