Entering the last full month of the season, just four women’s teams remain unbeaten in Division II, with all four ranked among the top six in the newest Nike/US Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20. No. 1 Florida Southern continues to top the poll, followed by Lindenwood. Both teams are 12-0 overall and have dominated opponents for most of the season, winning the bulk of their games by 10 goals or more. 

No. 4 Le Moyne and No. 6 West Chester are the other two unbeatens. Le Moyne has steamrolled through its first five NE10 opponents, including a pair of double-digit wins over New Haven and Southern New Hampshire last week. Meanwhile, West Chester appears to have established itself as the frontrunner in the PSAC despite a scare from Mercyhurst last Saturday. 

Key games to watch this week include a top 10 match-up in the Sunshine State Conference between No. 1 Florida Southern and No. 9 Rollins, a key game in the East Coast Conference between No. 7 Mercy and No. 12 NYIT, and a big non-conference meeting between No. 3 Adelphi and No. 8 LIU Post.

NYIT (+3)

The Bears climb three spots for the second straight week as they extended their winning streak to six games, all on the road. For the second time this year, Karie Znaniecki recorded an 11-point game, with three goals and eight assists in a 20-1 rout at Chestnut Hill.

Regis (+2)

The Rangers extended their winning streak to six after sweeping a two-game road trip with wins at Westminster and No. 12 Colorado Mesa. They now begin a four-game homestand that includes a key RMAC showdown with No. 2 Lindenwood.

Indianapolis (-12)

A bad week for UIndy, which lost back-to-back Great Lakes Conference road games against surging Grand Valley State and Tiffin. The Greyhounds were held to their second lowest goal total of the season in the 15-9 loss at Tiffin, including a scoreless drought of 32 minutes.

Colorado Mesa (-4)

The Mavericks fell behind 9-3 in the first half and never recovered in a 16-9 loss to visiting Regis last Saturday. CMU committed 19 turnovers in the loss.

Grand Valley State

The Lakers have won six straight since their two early losses to Le Moyne and Regis, and registered a statement win by upsetting then-No. 8 Indianapolis, 17-10, last week. GVSU can strengthen its hold on first place in the Great Lakes Conference when it hosts second-place Tiffin Wednesday.

Bloomsburg

The Huskies are riding a four-game winning streak and are tied for second in the competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference. Tracy Rusen’s four goals sparked BU in Saturday’s 14-8 win over Edinboro.

Tampa

The Spartans, 9-4 overall, move into the Top 20 for the first time this year and become the fifth ranked team from the Sunshine State Conference. Tampa nearly registered the biggest upset of the year last week, but had its late rally against top-ranked Florida Southern fall just short, losing 13-12.

Indiana (Pa.) (previously No. 16)

Despite a record-setting week from junior Ally Burrows, who tallied 17 goals in two games, the Hawks fall out of the Top 20 following a 16-15 PSAC loss to unranked Slippery Rock.

Lock Haven (previously No. 18)

LHU suffered its first conference loss, falling 16-15 to unranked Millersville after squandering an early 5-1 lead. The Bald Eagles have a chance to solidify their PSAC credentials when they visit No. 14 East Stroudsburg Wednesday.

Bentley (previously No. 20)

The Falcons had a four-game winning streak snapped with a 13-10 loss at home to Franklin Pierce. Bentley converted on just 2 of 12 free-position opportunities.
