What are your pregame rituals?

Poland spring water bottle near the substitution box. For the past seven years, one assistant would kick it over after the anthem for good luck.

What was your senior quote in your high school yearbook?

I’m sure something from the Beastie Boys.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

Alive: Bill Belichick. Dead: Teddy Roosevelt.

What is your favorite inspirational quotation?

“Confident enough to perform, humble enough to prepare.” — Tom Coughlin

What’s your favorite sports movie?

“Slapshot.”

What’s the most played song on your favorite playlist?

“Right Back Where We Started From” — Maxine Nightingale

What was the hardest move you had to master?

Not yelling at referees.

What’s on thing lacrosse really needs?

To have most of our games actually played in “spring.”

What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome?

Being colorblind.

What’s on your bucket list?

Not sure. I finally checked off “first pitch at Fenway” last year.

If you could go to any school to play any sport (besides lacrosse), where and what would it be?

Duke, to play point guard. I was a big Bobby Hurley fan growing up.

What do you think the biggest change is for you and your team going from D-II to D-I?

There hasn’t been much change internally. Probably the biggest change is lack of familiarity with opponents. YOu go from playing mostly the same teams yearly, and now it’s watching more film on new teams annd building scouting reports from scratch.
