Where did you go on your last vacation?

My wife Caitlyn and I went to Las Vegas over New Year's Eve to see Celine Dion in concert. She is one of the greatest performers and I am a huge fan. My wife touched her hand during the performance, so that was pretty cool.

Who’s your favorite athlete?

LeBron James, but I am also a huge Tom Schreiber fan and can watch his highlights all day long.

What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood?

Good food. Whether it's wings, sushi, steak, mac n’ cheese, you name it.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I would love to be a phenomenal chef. I watch the Food Network constantly, but still have not mastered the kitchen yet.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always wanted to be a professional athlete, mainly a football player. In high school, I wanted to be a U.S. history teacher and high school coach. Pretty cool that I get to do both — be a professional lacrosse player, work at Archbishop Spalding (Md.) High School and coach lacrosse there.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

I am a big U.S. history fan and would love to sit down with George Washington. He played such a pivotal role in our country's history, and I would love to talk with him about the events surrounding the Revolutionary War.

What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome?

I tore my ACL twice. Both were fluke injuries and both were long recovery times. Missing all that time makes you realize how much you love the game.

OVERTIME from Ohio State senior defenseman Erik Evans:

What’s your favorite family tradition around the holidays?

I love getting together with my whole extended family for Thanksgiving: the McFaddens, Stouts and Phipps. I always look forward to the Manis family Christmas Eve party. I also enjoy the new McPhipps Oyster Fest every year on the day after Christmas.

DOUBLE OVERTIME from Instagram user @doubting_reality:

Which do you love more — coaching or playing?

I enjoy both, but if I love coaching more than playing, then I think it would be time to hang up the cleats. I love the impact that coaching has and how you can affect more people, but I still love putting on the pads and getting after it.
