When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A police officer. My dad is one, and growing up, I thought it would be really cool to follow in his footsteps.

What’s the most played song on your favorite playlist?

Probably an Avicii song. I started listening to EDM in middle school and haven’t been able to shake my love for it.

What’s your favorite hobby?

I love sports — even though I find myself to be pretty bad at most. Squash, tennis and golf are ones I can play without embarrassing myself too badly.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

I’m a huge American history guy, so any past U.S. president would be awesome.

Who is your role model?

My grandpa. I am named after him and he embodies what all men should aspire to be: honest, hardworking and humble.

What’s your favorite inspirational quotation?

“Stay patient, don’t hesitate and react without thinking.” It is obviously very applicable to lacrosse, but in life, one should probably think before reacting.

What type of animal would best describe your style of play?

Golden retriever, mostly because they just have fun. Even though I’m a pretty serious guy, just having the opportunity to play the game I love every day is such a blessing. At the end of the day, it’s fun to be a part of Brown lacrosse, it’s fun to get the opportunity to play on Saturday, and it’s fun to compete for a national championship.

What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome?

People putting constraints or limits on me. I’m a firm believer that people can do anything they set their minds to as long as they work hard. But people will always say you can’t. There have always been people trying to put constraints on me. I was even once told by an Ivy League coach during the recruiting process I’d never play lacrosse in the Ivy League.

It’s 2029 — Where are you and what are you doing?

The best case would be an accomplished employee of a well-regarded firm.

Overtime from Providence goalie Tate Boyce:

You’re making a PB&J and only have one knife to use. What comes first — the peanut butter or the jelly?

Peanut butter.

Double Overtime from Instagram follower @insta_graham8:

What kind of bear is best?

The Brown bear.
