What’s something that always puts you in a good mood?
Puppies, golden retrievers especially. Golden retrievers are good housedogs, and they’re very good at listening. They’re also fun to hang around and cuddle.

What is your favorite hobby?
Listen to music. Country is my favorite music. My favorite song right now is probably “Silence” by Khalid. He’s a new up-and-coming artist, and he’s very mellow.

Do you have pregame rituals?
Listening to music and stick tricks. House music is my go-to before games. I don’t listen to country before games, because it would kind of mellow me out. My go-to stick trick is when I throw the ball up the in the air, fake like I’m going to hit it like a baseball and then catch it in the back of my stick and still have it.

If you could marry a celebrity, who would it be?
Jennifer Aniston.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?
Pizza. My favorite is buffalo chicken pizza. Luigi’s (Mineola, N.Y.) is my spot at home.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken Parmesan with penne pasta from Uncle Bacala’s in Garden City, N.Y.

What has been the proudest moment of your career?
Overtime goal against Notre Dame in the 2016 ACC semifinals. That goal means a lot to me. After the passing of one my best friends, the next game, I knew he was looking down. He let me score that goal. I didn’t score all game, and he let me have that moment for him.

What’s the hardest skill you’ve had to master?
Playing right-handed and doing a lot more with my weak hand, whether that’s turning the corner or getting out with my feet and throwing a through ball onto someone’s stick. I could go lefty in high school all the time and pretty much get what I wanted.

If you couldn’t play lacrosse, what sport would you play?
I would want to be a professional golfer. Golf is a very frustrating sport, but when you’re that good and you’re a professional, it’s not as stressful. Those guys seem to have a lot of fun on the course, and they make good money.

DOUBLE OVERTIME from Instagram user @alex4483:

Who would be your first pick in fantasy football?
Odell Beckham Jr., without a doubt. He’s my favorite football player. He plays with a lot of emotion, and he makes football fun to watch for me as a huge Giants fan. Although he has his troubles, he backs it up on the field. He’s fun to watch.
