This week, US Lacrosse Magazine told the story of the Decatur (Ga.) lacrosse program, which received a US Lacrosse grant in 2002 and has since thrived. We met two lacrosse success stories in DeAngelo Watkins, who made it from the Housing Authority apartment projects to Essex Community College (Md.) because of lacrosse, and Ousman Sy, the son of Mauritanian refugees who was gifted a STX stick from Watkins and has made lacrosse his passion.
