A Tewaaraton nominee and Inside Lacrosse’s No. 11 overall women’s or men’s player in the nation for the 2022 season, Mastroianni has numerous accolades throughout her career, most recently named to All-ACC first team. In 2021, she was unanimously chosen first-team All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse Magazine and the IWLCA and was named ACC Midfielder of the Year.
Mastroianni is one of three current college players to be a member of the women’s lacrosse national team and will compete in her first world championship this summer.
“Ally has proven herself as a powerhouse on the field in her college tenure,” Gait Lacrosse owner Paul Gait said. “We are happy to have her on our team and excited to see her play for Team USA this summer.”
Mastroianni joins a growing list of elite women’s and men’s lacrosse athletes, as well as 11 college lacrosse programs in the Gait Family.
