After twice relinquishing a three-goal lead, No. 9 Loyola scored the last three goals to defeat No. 12 Florida 12-9 at Ridley Athletic Complex on Friday.

Sam Fiedler led the unbeaten Greyhounds (6-0) with four goals, including the go-ahead tally on a player-up possession with 8:58 remaining. Livy Rosenzweig added two goals and three assists, surpassing the 350-point mark for her career and moving to No. 19 among the NCAA’s all-time scorers.

Rosenzweig also reeled in five draw controls, one shy of the team-high six draw controls garnered by her teammate Katie Detwiler. Loyola held a 15-9 advantage on draws.

  • Kelsey Huff scored a career-high seven goals and converted three of five free positions, as No. 17 USC capitalized on a fast start to defeat No. 19 Colorado 11-7.

  • Delaware snapped a three-game losing streak with an 11-10 win over Temple.

  • UMass exploded for 12 second-half goals in an 18-7 win at Vanderbilt. Alex Finn led the effort with four goals and two assists.

  • Reigning ACC Offensive Player of the Week Sam Geiersbach was sensational again for North Carolina, scoring two goals and dishing out six assists in the No. 2 Tar Heels’ 20-7 win over Mercer.
