Fred Opie is an author and former Syracuse University and US National Lacrosse team player growing integrity, effort, and care on and off the field.

A native of Watertown, N.Y., near Syracuse, Salisbury University Head Coach Jim Berkman is the all-time winningest coach in NCAA men's lacrosse history. In 29 seasons, he has won 11 national championships at Salisbury. Berkman was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2013. He had been selected as the Division III National Coach of Year multiple times.
