Fred Opie is an author and former Syracuse University and US National Lacrosse team player growing integrity, effort, and care on and off the field.

Host Fred Opie interviews Framingham, Mass., native Tanner Guarino who played college lacrosse at the University of Massachusetts. She served as a team captain her senior year helping the program win four Atlantic 10 Conference championships and play in four NCAA tournaments. She holds the UMass record for most games played. Guarino is the co-director of Goldstar Lacrosse club in the head lacrosse coach at Natick High School in Natick, Mass. and a member of the Boston Storm women’s professional lacrosse team. She talks about the sports she grew up playing in Framingham, her college selection criteria, her required course for graduating from college, coaching, and the qualities of a great player.
