Fred Opie is an author and former Syracuse University and US National Lacrosse team player growing integrity, effort, and care on and off the field.

Host Fred Opie talks with former Syracuse All-American and current Atlanta Blaze lacrosse player Dylan Donahue. Donahue is what Opie calls a classic tweener – someone who excels despite obvious deficiencies – in Dylan’s case he was a 5’8’’ 145 pound high school senior. Donahue talks about growing up in Camillus, N.Y., in a family and extended family of great lacrosse players, his decision to attend Syracuse University, his strategy for getting bigger and better, and his student-athlete experience. Donahue talks about what it was like to play for his father, Syracuse University Assistant Lacrosse Coach Kevin Donahue and growing up in family of teachers.
