Fred Opie is an author and former Syracuse University and U.S. National Lacrosse team player growing integrity, effort, and care on and off the field.

How do you develop confidence? Why do Hopkins lacrosse alum hold Freddy Smith in such high regard? Why we consider some people great? Host Fred Opie interviews Hall of Famer Larry Quinn a.k.a. The Door.

These two former teammates talk about Quinn’s incredible confidence, Levittown Memorial High School on Long Island, official visits, his decision to attend Johns Hopkins University where he won two national lacrosse championships (1984, 1985) and Coach Freddy Smith.

Quinn, a longtime volunteer on the US Lacrosse Board of Directors, also talks about college teammates who also are members of the National Hall of Fame, his decision to become an attorney, coaching at Hopkins, suggested changes in collegiate lacrosse rules, U.S. national team tryouts, and more.
