Fred Opie is an author and former Syracuse University and US National Lacrosse team player growing integrity, effort, and care on and off the field.

Host Fred Opie interviews George Mason head lacrosse coach Jessy Morgan. The Baltimore native played collegiate lacrosse at the University of Virginia (UVA) where she earned All-American honors. Morgan, a past member of the U.S. national team, spent four seasons as an assistant coach at UVA before becoming the head lacrosse coach at Howard University (2009 and 2010). In 2014, Morgan entered the McDonogh School Hall of Fame. She conducts summer lacrosse camps for girls in non-traditional lacrosse areas all over the country. Host Fred Opie asked her about her decision to attend the University of Virginia, her coaching experience at Howard University, how she evaluates prospective student athletes, the expectation she has for her players as student athletes. Opie, who has written extensively about foodways, also asks Morgan about how her diet has changed since her freshman year at UVA and the training table she sets for her players and assistant coaches.
