Stony Brook passed its first major test since becoming the No. 1 team in the country last week, winning 15-10 at Northwestern on Saturday to improve to 4-0 for the season.
North Carolina wasn't able to keep the momentum going from its win over Maryland, suffering a home loss to Florida.
Some of the biggest movement came at the bottom of the poll, with the ACC's Duke and Virginia Tech getting bounced from the rankings after blowout losses to Pac-12 teams. Stanford blitzed Duke 15-5 on Friday and Colorado beat Virginia Tech 18-3 on Sunday.

Florida (+3)
Haley Hicklen was phenomenal on Saturday, making a school record 16 saves as Florida beat North Carolina 17-10 despite getting outshot 39-29 and losing the draw control battle 20-9. Shayna Pirreca (6g) and Lindsey Ronbeck (5g) had huge days.
Yale (+3)
Yale jumped three spots largely on the backs of losses by teams in front of them, but the Bulldogs created excitement with a 16-15 overtime win against rival Harvard to stay unbeaten. Kiwi Comizio scored the game-winner in overtime — it was her only shot of the game.
Virginia (+2)
Virginia is 5-0 for the first time since 2007, a year that ended with a trip to the NCAA championship game. The Cavaliers outscored Syracuse 17-16 on Sunday behind four goals from Kasey Behr to snap a nine-game losing streak in the series against the Orange.

Syracuse (-5)
There's no shame in losing to Virginia, but the Orange face a very difficult week if they want to avoid sliding further down the rankings. The Orange host No. 4 Florida on Wednesday and then No. 3 Maryland on Sunday.
North Carolina (-4)
The return of All-America Maggie Bill to the lineup for the first time this season wasn't enough to overcome Florida. The Tar Heels have given up at least 15 goals in three of their five games this season and have converted just 4-of-17 free position shots in their last two games.

Georgetown
A 2-0 week for the Hoyas was highlighted by a 15-14 victory over Johns Hopkins behind three goals, an assist and six draw controls from Francesca Whitehurst.
Loyola
The Greyhounds picked up their first win of the season on Saturday, rallying from seven goals down to beat Penn State 16-15 in overtime. Taylor VanThof had four goals and seven draw controls in the win.
Colorado
The Buffs played their way back into the rankings with a dominant 18-3 victory over Virginia Tech. Colorado scored the first nine goals of the game and were led by Miranda Stinson with five goals and three assists.
OUT
Virginia Tech (previously 15)
The Pac-12 curse continued for Virginia Tech. The Hokies opened the season with a disappointing 11-5 loss to USC, but had since bounced back with four straight wins before running into a buzzsaw at Colorado on Sunday. The Hokies have to regroup for a tough road game at Denver on Wednesday.
Duke (previously 16)
After starting 3-0 with a win over Northwestern, Duke got knocked off the rails with a loss to Virginia Tech on February 24 and then were stoned by Stanford goalie Allie DaCar (12 saves) in a 15-5 loss on Friday. The Blue Devils offense bounced back on Sunday in a 21-13 win over Boston University.
Penn State (previously 18)
After two straight NCAA semifinal appearnaces, Penn State hasn't gotten things rolling yet in 2018. A season-opening loss to Towson was followed by a very close call at Lehigh, but the Nittany Lions had won three straight heading into Saturday's game against Loyola. A seven-goal lead in the second half wasn't enough to hang on against the Greyhounds.
