Eight NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse conferences held their semifinal rounds on Thursday and 16 teams are one step closer towards securing an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Here’s a rundown of Thursday’s conference-by-conference results.

American Athletic Conference

Sydney Pirreca tied a school-record with 11 points and set a Florida mark with six assists as the Gators beat Vanderbilt 19-10 in the first American Athletic Conference tournament game ever played.

Grace Haus added a career-high five goals for the Gators and Lindsey Ronbeck had three goals and two assists to become just the second Florida player with over 300 career points.

Alyssa Adams scored three of her four goals during a five-goal run late in the first half that keyed Cincinnati’s 13-9 victory over Temple. The host Bearcats will entertain Florida in Saturday’s championship game.

America East

America East favorite Stony Brook got six goals and four assists from Ally Kennedy as the Seawolves downed UMBC 17-5. Kennedy, a junior midfielder who played with the U.S. national team in two events this offseason, has scored 33 goals in Stony Brook’s last six games. She ranks among the Top 10 in the country with 74 goals this season.

Stony Brook will go for its seventh consecutive America East title on Saturday against Albany.

Albany outscored New Hampshire 20-16 in a game coached by former U.S. World Cup teammates Katie Rowan (Albany) and Sarah Albrecht (New Hampshire). It was the 13^th straight win for the Great Danes over the New Hampshire and put Albany into the America East championship game for the ninth year in a row.

Madison Conway (6g, 3a) and Sam Tortora (4g, 5a) each had nine points for Albany and Devan Miller had six goals for New Hampshire.

Atlantic Sun

Jenny Kinsey set a Jacksonville record with 10 points (8g, 2a) as the Dolphins routed Kennesaw State 24-8 in the semifinal round of the Atlantic Sun tournament. Just behind Kinsey in powering the offense was Lillie Miller, who had seven goals and two assists.

Jacksonville will meet Liberty, an 18-8 win over host Coastal Carolina, in the championship game. Anna Keebler had five goals and an assist for Liberty, which won its school record 14^th game, and Carly White had a hat trick. Coastal’s Haley Alexander had four goals to give her a school record 55 for the season.

Big East

Denver is headed to the Big East championship for the third straight season since joining the league in 2017. The top-seeded Pioneers beat Villanova 15-5 in the semifinals at Marquette behind four goals each from Quintin Hoch-Bullen and Bea Behrins.

Denver will meet Georgetown in the final. Just a week after losing its regular season finale to Marquette, the Hoyas turned the tables and beat the host Golden Eagles 17-10 in the second semifinal. Former U.S. U19 star Francesca Whitehurst had a huge game for Georgetown, scoring six goals to go along with two assists.

Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference

Top-seeded Fairfield outscored Marist 18-14 to post its 10^th consecutive victory. Brooke Gallaher (7g, 1a), Meaghan Graham (2g, 5a) and Kathleen Hulseman (5g) did most of the damage for the Stags.

Samantha Mehalick, who had 11 goals in Marist’s quarterfinal victory over Manhattan, added seven in the loss today to finish the season with a school record 79 goals. Marist’s Hailey Wagner had 10 draw controls, giving her an NCAA record 224 for the season, breaking Kayla Treanor’s mark of 217 set for Syracuse in 2016.

Fairfield will meet Siena in the championship after the Saints rallied and then held off Monmouth 16-15 behind three goals and four assists from Nicole McNeely.

Monmouth led by as many as six goals in the first half, but Siena scored two goals in the final 24 seconds of the first half and then opened the second half with a six-goal run. Siena’s 12 victories are a new school record and they are advancing to the conference championship game for the first time since 2005.

Northeast Conference

Madeline Seims scored six goals and Wagner held off Robert Morris 14-13 to advance to the Northeast Conference championship game. Wagner scored three straight goals to open the game, but then fell behind 5-3 and did not regain the lead until midway through the second half when Seims fifth goal of the game put the Seahawks up 10-9.

Wagner will play at top-seeded Mount St. Mary’s in Saturday’s championship game. Jordan Butler and Alayna Pagntta each scored four goals to lead the Mount to an 18-4 blowout victory over Bryant. Mount goalie Jillian Petito made seven saves to earn her 16^th win of the season.

Patriot League

The stage is set for another showdown between Loyola and Navy in the Patriot League championship game. Navy has won the last two Patriot League tournaments despite having to play at Loyola, the league’s regular season winner each time.

The Mids will try to make it three times in a row on Saturday at Loyola’s Ridley Athletic Complex after beating rival Army 20-10 in the semifinals. Nicole Victory had four goals and five assists for Navy and Kelly Larkin scored six times.

Earlier in the day, Hannah Powers scored a Patriot League tournament record eight goals in the Greyhounds 20-12 victory over Colgate.

Livy Rosensweig added four goals and four assists for the Greyhounds and Emily Cooper scored four times.

Southern Conference

Kelly Haggerty scored four times as Mercer knocked off Central Michigan 13-9 in the semifinal round of the Southern Conference tournament at Furman. Mercer, Furman and Detroit Mercy finished in a three-way tie atop the SoCon in the regular season and the Bears will now meet Furman for the championship.

Hannah Demis had three goals and four assists, her second straight seven-point game, to lead the Paladins to a 12-8 win over Detroit Mercy. Courtney Baker made 11 saves in the win. Furman will look for the season sweep over the Bears, having beaten Mercer 13-11 on April 7.
