The Epoch/US Lacrosse Players of the Week are named each Tuesday to recognize the most outstanding individual performances in high school boys’  and girls’ lacrosse in each of the five regions — Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Midwest and West — outlined in our high school coverage. Make it Epoch

Northeast

Chris Gray, Shoreham-Wading River (N.Y.)

The senior attackman had six goals and one assist to lead SWR to a 13-7 win over Islip (N.Y.) and its second straight Suffolk County Class C title, and then he capped a remarkable senior season with three goals and two assists in a 16-7 loss to Cold Spring Harbor in the Long Island Class A title game. Gray, who is headed to Boston University, led Suffolk County in scoring for the second straight year, posting 90 goals and 25 assists this season. He tallied 79 goals and 22 assists in 2016.

Mid-Atlantic

George Enman, Pingry (N.J.)

The junior attackman has powered the Big Blue into the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions semifinals. Enman had three goals and two assists Wednesday in an 11-1 rout of Bishop Eustace (N.J.) for the Non-Public B title. On Saturday, he posted four goals and two assists in a 9-4 upset of Group 4 champion Montgomery (N.J.). After a 7-6 start, Pingry has won seven straight games to advance the state final four. Enman has a team-best 40 goals and 31 assists for the season.

Midwest

Brock Snyder, Cathedral (Ind.)

Snyder notched 12 saves and allowed just five goals against between the pipes for Cathedral as the Irish won their fourth state title on Saturday. The junior goaltender also made 10 saves against Carmel in the state semifinals.
