Northeast
Pat Gillis, Ipswich (Mass.)
The junior scored an unassisted goal late in the fourth quarter to snap a tie and lead Ipswich to an 8-7 win over Grafton (Mass.) in the Division 3 state final. Gillis finished with two goals, and his older brother, Charlie, dominated to the faceoff X to lead Ipswich to its first state title since 2003.

Midwest
Brandon Wuertz, Eagan (Minn.)
Wuertz notched a hat trick and added three assists to lift Eagan to a 19-12 win over Benilde-St. Margaret's School (Minn.) in the Minnesota state final Saturday. In a 12-11 win over Mahtomedi (Minn.) in the semifinals, Wuertz scored four goals.
