The Stallions haven’t given up more than three goals in a game since late March. That kind of defense is powerful when paired with the offense of Caitlin Wurzberger, who scored seven goals and added four assists in the team’s 22-6 regional final victory over St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.) to surpass 100 goals and 100 assists for the season. The Stallions have been dominant for much of the season, including a four-game road trip in state against Pine Crest, St. Thomas Aquinas, American Heritage Plantation and Stoneman Douglas. 2. Milton (Ga.), 18-1
The Eagles have been unstoppable of late. After beating Holy Cross (Md.) 16-8 on April 6, Milton has won each of its last six games by double digits, including a 19-1 win over East Coweta (Ga.), with 18 different scorers, to start the postseason. The Eagles have been balanced throughout, including 11 scorers against Centennial (Ga.). Maggie Dora (eight goals), Skylar Carrasquillo (six goals), Briana Carrasquillo (five goals) and Marleigh Sanders (eight assists) were exceptional against defending Massachusetts state champ Norwell. 3. Weddington (N.C.), 16-0
The Warriors’ perfect record was put to the test in April. Weddington came through every single time, pulling out close wins over Charlotte Catholic (N.C.), Lake Norman (N.C.) and Charlotte Latin (N.C.). Meryl Johnson has joined Jordyn Case at the head of a lethal attack, with Johnson leading the Warriors in assists and scoring four goals in a key win over Cardinal Gibbons. (N.C.). 4. Lake Highland Prep (Fla.), 21-2
The Highlanders have won 12 straight, with their only losses coming to the South’s top-ranked team, American Heritage Delray, and St. Paul’s (Md.). Their win streak included eight straight 20-plus goal performances, a 14-4 victory at Bishop Moore (Fla.) in the regional semifinals and an equally dominant 16-5 regional final victory over Tampa Plant (Fla.). LHP was sparked by four goals and three assists from Olivia Adamson and a hat trick from Ainsley Thurston against Plant. Previous: 3
5. Episcopal Dallas (Texas), 14-1
The Eagles have tallied 12-plus goals in every single game this season and racked up several wins against top-notch opposition, including a sweep of defending state champion Hockaday and a 17-13 late March victory over Walton (Ga.). Anna Winkler has been fantastic, including five goals in the team’s recent loss to Kinkaid and five goals and three assists in a win over Hockaday. Jay Browne had five goals in both games. 6. Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.), 13-3
Challenging games early seem to have paid off down the stretch for the Crusaders. Their first five games included taking on one of the Tar Heel State’s best in Weddington, Hockaday (Texas) and Florida powers Vero Beach and Lake Highland Prep. Now, Cardinal Gibbons is rolling, winning nine straight games, by a 168-17 combined margin, and scoring at least 18 goals in all nine. The Crusaders’ dominance included a three-goal, six-assist performance from Caroline Mullahy in the team’s 19-9 playoff win over Ashley. Previous: NR

After losing three straight games, the Daisies have won 11 of their last 12. All four of Hockaday’s losses have come against quality opposition, including two to Episcopal Dallas and one-goal losses to Cardinal Gibbons (N.C.) and Charlotte Catholic (N.C.). Previous: 10

The Raptors’ last month was highlighted by a 13-8 victory over a strong Harpeth Hall (Tenn.) squad. Ravenwood’s lone blemish is a 13-12 road loss to Ensworth (Tenn.). Previous: NR
9. Harpeth Hall (Tenn.), 14-1
After the Honeybears’ 11-0 start was briefly disrupted by an April 16 loss at Ravenwood, they are back to business, winning their last three games by a 55-4 margin. Harpeth Hall is led by a dominant midfield, including Leelee Denton (61 goals, 23 assists, 75 draw controls) and Walker McKnight (22 goals, 14 assists, 76 draw controls), as well as attacker McCauley Smith (46 goals) and goalie Stefanie Chiguluri, who has saved 57 percent of the shots she has faced. 10. Bishop Moore (Fla.), 21-2
The Hornets had the misfortune of being grouped in a rough region. They matched up with Lake Highland Prep in the regional semifinals and fell 14-4, despite a hat trick from Jessica Kranich. LHP went on to the final four, but Bishop Moore beat two of the other state semifinalists, topping Hagerty, 12-9, and Benjamin, 20-9, on the road earlier this season. Previous: 4

1. Loyola Academy (Ill.), 18-1
Facing six teams ranked in the top 10 of last month’s Midwest ranking, the Ramblers came out unscathed to stretch their winning streak to 11 games. Loyola’s biggest scare came on April 25 in a 10-9 overtime win over New Albany (Ohio). Loyola also defeated Rockford (Mich.), New Trier (Ill.), Upper Arlington (Ohio), Hinsdale Central (Ill.) and Eden Prairie (Minn.). Previous: 1
2. Rockford (Mich.), 7-2-1
The Rams last played on April 26, tying New Trier (Ill.) 14-14. Rockford also lost back-to-back contests earlier in the month to Hinsdale Central (Ill.) and Loyola Academy (Ill.). Junior Sydney Zimmerman (Colorado) had 23 goals and eight assists over six games. Previous: 2

The Trevians’ last month was highlighted by a 19-6 win on April 11 over Glenbrook South (Ill.) and a 14-14 tie against Rockford. During a seven-game stretch in April, Lucy Murray (Dartmouth) recorded 23 goals and 20 assists, including the game-winner with 22 seconds left in a 11-10 victory over Forest Hills Central (Mich.) on April 27. The Red Devils have picked up a pair of wins over ranked opponents, defeating Rockford 13-12 on April 12, followed by an 11-7 win over Montini Catholic (Ill.) on May 2. Jenna Collignon (Yale) tallied seven goals in a loss to Loyola Academy on May 1. Previous: 4
5. Upper Arlington (Ohio), 12-2-1
The Golden Bears have recovered nicely since their early-season loss to Columbus DeSales (Ohio). They defeated rival New Albany (Ohio) 11-8 on April 20 and also picked up solid wins over Hudson (Ohio) and Dublin Coffman (Ohio). Senior Sophie Ballou recorded hat tricks in seven of Upper Arlington’s last eight contests, including an eight-goal performance against Cincinnati-Sycamore on May 3. Previous: 8

The Eagles nearly pulled off an incredible upset on April 25, dropping a 10-9 decision to Loyola in overtime. Emily Rezabek (Ohio State) scored six of New Albany’s nine goals. New Albany also lost to crosstown rival Upper Arlington (Ohio) on April 20. Previous: 5

Following a quick start to the season, the Eagles suffered their first loss to Loyola, 22-10, on May 4. Brooke Lewis leads a balanced attack with 27 goals and 17 assists. Maggie Brown has added 25 goals and 14 helpers. Previous: 6
8. Glenbrook South (Ill.), 11-2
The Titans have won six in a row since their 19-6 loss to New Trier on April 11. Glenbrook South will face its toughest stretch of the season in the next two weeks with games against Loyola and Hinsdale Central. Previous: 9
9. Columbus DeSales (Ohio), 13-1
Since losing to New Albany by a goal on March 16, the Stallions have won 13 in a row, including an impressive 8-5 win over Upper Arlington. DeSales also has an impressive win over Sycamore (Ohio). Previous: NR

The Mustangs outscored opponents 190-44 over 11 games in April. They passed their biggest test with a 14-10 win over St. Ignatius Prep (Calif.) on April 17. The Wolves remain unbeaten heading into the CIF North Coast Section playoffs as the top seed. They host Northgate in the first round Tuesday. SRV has outscored opponents 351-98 this season. The Bruins have won 13 straight since a 13-12 setback against Denver East (Colo.) in the second game of the season. They began April with notable wins over Valor Christian and Regis, and they only game decided by fewer than 11 goals since then was a 16-9 win over St. Ignatius (Calif.). Katie Collins leads with 47 goals, six assists and 50 groundballs, while Sydney Bierenkoven adds 13 goals and 29 assists. The Knights were cruising until St. Margaret’s (Calif.) ended their perfect record with a 9-7 loss April 25. They’ve bounced back since then and will compete for the CIF Southern Section Orange County title Wednesday, thanks to a 19-4 win over Santa Margarita (Calif.) in the semifinals Saturday. Previous: 5
5. Granite Bay (Calif.), 17-1
The Grizzlies’ lone blip came with a 13-11 loss at Mater Dei (Calif.) on April 15. They enter the CIF North Coast Section playoffs as the No. 2 seed, facing Campolindo (Calif.) in the first round Tuesday. Granite Bay has scored 307 goals while allowing 135. Previous: 3
6. Regis Jesuit (Colo.), 12-3
The Raiders have won seven of their last eight games since suffering back-to-back losses to Cherry Creek and Colorado at the beginning of April. Freshman Tess Osburn leads the team with 48 goals and 18 assists, while sophomores Lauren Rismani (32 goals and 33 assists) and Payton Cheedle (36 goals, 4 assists) also have been key contributors. The Islanders have dominated since avenging last year’s state final loss to Bainbridge Island on March 20. They haven’t played a game decided by less than five goals, and no one has scored more than nine against them. 8. Lake Oswego (Ore.), 14-3
The Lakers avenged their lone in-state loss when they beat West Linn 14-7 on Friday. They had dropped a 9-8 double overtime loss to their league rivals on April 23, ending a 52-game win streak over OGLA teams that spanned almost three years, but got two starters back for the rematch and apparently that was the difference. Lake Oswego also earned a notable 12-5 win over Bainbridge (Wash.) on April 20. Katy Gilbert (35 goals, 21 assists, 43 draw controls), Zoe Zigler (29 goals, 9 assists, 87 draw controls) and Katie Freeman (30 goals, 9 assists) continue to lead the team. Previous: 8

The Falcons have just one loss to in-state competition, a 12-11 setback against La Jolla on April 10, which they avenged with an 18-11 victory on May 1. The Dons join the rankings on an eight-game win streak following back-to-back losses to ranked Granite Bay and San Ramon Valley.
