JOHANSEN’S DEBUT
Amanda Johansen, a facilitator during the league’s first two weeks, made her on-field debut this weekend and earned 555 points — good enough for No. 43 on the leaderboard.
Johansen even earned a first-place MVP performance. Her stat line was balanced, too — two goals, two assists, five caused turnovers, nine ground balls and eight draw controls.
Playing for captain Kylie Ohlmiller on Team Purple, Johansen took the field midway through the AU season without missing a beat. The former USC star who was also a WPLL All-Star and a member of the U.S. women’s national training team even ripped a two-point goal on Sunday.
WEEKEND HIGHLIGHT
How did Cortney Fortunato even finish this? This might be the goal of the summer.
