The expanded digital-only July/August issue of US Lacrosse Magazine, a signature benefit of US Lacrosse membership, will include immersive and interactive features, in-depth reporting on the current topics in our sport and coverage from each of the 10 US Lacrosse regions.

US Lacrosse members will get exclusive access to the 96-page issue (normally 64 pages) beginning June 25 via an email link from US Lacrosse.

Here’s a look at some of the featured content for the July/August issue:

• A “How To” section with some of the top players in the game sharing pointers and drills to help players of all levels improve their skills. Alex Aust, Julia Bragg, Taylor Cummings, Matt Dunn, Marcus Holman, Megan Taylor and Alex Woodall all took part in instructional shoots at US Lacrosse headquarters on Tierney Field. Videos from each of these sessions will help players grasp the concepts and incorporate them into their own play.

• The nation’s recent racial unrest has prompted many black lacrosse players to voice their concerns, both about on and off field incidents. USLaxMagazine.com has provided a platform to help share their messages and the digital version of the magazine will help shine a brighter light on some of these stories as US Lacrosse continues its effort to make the lacrosse community inclusive.

• The COVID-19 pandemic shut down the lacrosse world the last few months, but the game is starting to come back. US Lacrosse led a Return to Play advisory group of medical and sport experts to help bring back the sport safely. The recommendations from the group will be highlighted in this edition.

• Stories of US Lacrosse impact in each of our 10 regions and a review of the way the organization helped support the sport nationwide in 2019.

• A look inside the powerful and emotional journey of Pace star Courtney Pabst. After scoring 186 points in her first three seasons, a knee surgery heading into her senior year turned into a fight for her life and ultimately the loss of part of her leg.

• An in-depth profile on the rise of PLL Chaos star Jarrod Neumann. Under the radar at Providence, Neumann burst onto the scene last year as the PLL’s Defensive Player of the Year and is now in the player pool for the U.S. men’s national team.

US Lacrosse Magazine has helped share the stories from the lacrosse world since 1978 and the organization aims to return to its traditional print publication for members with the September/October issue.
