Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. In just over a week, tryouts for the 2019 U.S. Men's Indoor Team begin at the Lacrosse All Stars North American Invitational. The U.S. will be split up into two teams that will compete in the event as part of its training weekend under head coach Regy Thorpe. Both teams begin play on Sept. 27.

2. The LASNAI event will come on the heels of the National Lacrosse League Draft, which is set for Sept. 25 and will be streamed live on Bleacher Report. In a pretty cool turn of events, Patrick Merrill, the first pick in the 2002 NLL Draft, will make the first selection. He's the general manager and head coach of the expansion San Diego Seals.

Saint Joseph's (Pa.) head coach Alex Kahoe is set to go into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame next week. She won four national championships as a goalie at Maryland.

3. A redshirt year forced Alex Kahoe to wait, but it was well worth it. She went on to help Maryland win four national championships and next week she'll be inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

4. Jeffrey Wright didn't win an Emmy on Monday night for his work on the HBO show "Westworld" - he was up for best lead actor in a drama series - but it's another pretty amazing accomplishment in the career of the former Amherst player. Here's a look back at a story we did about his lacrosse background and acting career last year.

5. Major League Lacrosse continues to announce a flury of signings. Among names announced on Tuesday were former Team USA player Matt Abbott (Chesapeake), Zed Williams (Boston), Ryan McNamara (Dallas) and a pair of faceoff specialists — Ben Williams (Florida) and Jake Withers (Charlotte). Here's a look at a sweet goal from Zed Williams from earlier this year.

6. One of the really cool thing about our headquarters at US Lacrosse is seeing lacrosse teams come from near and far to play on the field and visit the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum. On Tuesday we had some visitors making a really long trip — the Waseda University team came from Japan for practice and a museum tour led by our archivist Joe Finn.

Seeing this clip of Kyle Harrison dressed up for...who knows what, makes this a must-see.

This clip on "buying in" by Nebraska football player Tanner Farmer was all over our Twitter feed yesterday, with many from the lacrosse community sharing the message.
