Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The U.S. men’s national team released its roster for this month’s Fall Classic, which will take place Oct. 18-20 at US Lacrosse headquarters.
On the roster are six players that won gold in the 2018 world championship — Trevor Baptiste, Greg Gurenlian, John Haus, Will Haus, Marcus Holman and Rob Pannell.
Also included is a group of U.S. national team newcomers that made an impact in pro lacrosse this summer like Jarrod Neumann, Mark Glicini, Garrett Epple and Jules Heningburg.

2. Charlie Coker had dreams of wrestling at the local Naval Academy, but he was never recruited. He had to find a Plan B.
That path led him to Johns Hopkins, where he starred as a three-sport athlete. He helped the Blue Jays win three national titles. Now, he’ll be honored as a Hall of Famer.
3. Pat Spencer’s not the only former lacrosse player hitting the basketball court this season.
Thomas O’Connell, the former Maryland lacrosse short stick defensive midfielder, will suit up for a fifth NCAA season at St. John’s and play basketball in the Big East this season. O’Connell was a 1,000-point scorer at Chaminade (N.Y.) in high school.

4. Syracuse and Denver battled it out to a 15-15 tie in a high-profile fall ball matchup last Saturday. Tucker Dordevic, who missed the 2019 season due to injury, dropped three points. Check out the best images from a game that highlighted the Cortland Lacrosse Legends event.
