Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. It was a big day in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In a moment months in the making, Halifax Thunderbirds Owner Curt Styres completed his canoe journey from Six Nations, Ontario to the harbor in Halifax. He made the 81-day voyage across Eastern Canada to pay homage to the native roots of the game and the arrival of the Thunderbirds to Nova Scotia.

He made it to the harbor Tuesday afternoon.

The former Rochester Knighthawks franchise will begin its first NLL season on Dec. 7 against the New York Riptide.

2.  What’s next for the PLL?

After a successful first season, fans are left wondering what the league can do to up its game for 2020. Could it be free agency? Or expansion? We’ll have to wait and see.

3. US Lacrosse had El Paso in mind when planning this year's Sankofa Clinic series, well before the tragic shooting that killed 22 people in the Texas city. Following that event, the clinic took on an even greater meaning when the series came Saturday.

In addition to the instructional clinic, each of the participants Saturday at El Paso High School got a lacrosse stick and a customized US Lacrosse Sankofa Clinic Series t-shirt with “El Paso Strong” inscribed on it.

• The Vancouver Warriors signed 6-foot-10 defenseman Tyson Roe to a contract just days after he helped England finish fourth in the World Indoor Lacrosse Championship.

• Inside Lacrosse Top 15 2020 faceoff man Jake Naso, the top FOGO in the class, has flipped his commitment from national champion Virginia to Duke. He’ll join fellow St. Anthony’s star Brennan O’Neill at Duke.

• Grant Ament, Nick Cardile, Mac O'Keefe, and Tommy Wright named Penn State captains.

• College Crosse previews Vermont men’s lacrosse’s 2020 schedule.

• Marquette men’s lacrosse giving back to the local homeless population through the newly-founded Just One campaign.
