Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Vote in our #BestOfLax polls this week, contiuing with four finalists for Best Women’s Player of 2018.

Sam Apuzzo, Kylie Ohlmiller, Steph Colson and Marie McCool wowed lacrosse fans throughout the year, and now it’s your turn to decide who’s the best. We’ll profile the winner in the December edition of US Lacrosse Magazine. You can vote via Twitter.

2. Three Hofstra alums are continuing their careers across the pond, or Lacrosse the Pond. Mitch Kingsley (men’s lacrosse), Amanda Seekamp (women’s lacrosse) and Zoe Gomez (women’s lacrosse) are a month into a one-year program at Durham University (U.K.) that will help them earn a Master’s degree while playing lacrosse.

It’s a rare opportunity to continue playing the game they love while growing lacrosse in England. Kingsley, Seekamp and Gomez headed to England as part of the Lacrosse the Pond initiative.

3. The MIAA A Conference will adopt the shot clock, crease dive and 10-yard substitution boxes for the spring 2019 season, according to Ty Xanders.

This comes weeks after the NCAA adopted the similar rules, adding an 80-second shot clock to the game in addition a form of the dive and changes to the substitution box.
