1. Despite a big season on the field, Chase Scanlan didn’t feel at home at Loyola. The talented sophomore transferred to Syracuse, his initial college commitment, and is gearing up for a big season with the Orange.

3. The US Lacrosse WCLA National Championships are headed back to Texas. Round Rock will host the event in 2020 and 2022.

• The NCAA Division III men’s lacrosse tournament will have a new format requiring back-to-back games on key weekends. Inside Lacrosse’s Matt Kinnear with the report.

• A youth movement almost led the Dallas Rattlers to the MLL playoffs.
