1. Best of Lax is back for 2022.

It’s time to vote for the top moments, players, teams and highlights from the year in lacrosse. Voting on Twitter starts Dec. 5, with categories running through December.

2. The 2022-23 NLL season stars on Dec. 2. It’s time to get excited.

From the debut of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs to the old faces in new places, we’re here to give you the 16 Reasons to Watch the NLL this season. Click here for the full list.

Also in NLL news, the league announced its 2023 playoff schedule, which features the championship series starting over Memorial Day weekend. The playoff schedule would likely allow for NLL players to complete the season before transitioning to the PLL schedule.

3. Cleveland’s Kent Collier is dreaming of college lacrosse thanks to the Lacrosse Communities Project.

As part of the initiative, USA Lacrosse unveiled a new field in the Ohio City neighborhood in 2017. Collier first picked up a stick five years ago, and he’s now a goalie for the Urban Community School team.
