Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Matt Vinc and Dan Dawson, two likely future National Lacrosse League Hall of Famers, signed with new teams Tuesday.

Vinc, the six-time NLL Goalie of the Year and three-time NLL champion with the Rochester Knighthawks, signed a three-year deal with the Buffalo Bandits. With the Professional Lacrosse Players Association ratifying a new collective bargaining agreement over the weekend, the Vinc signing was the first major splash of a condensed preseason.

Both Vinc and the Knighthawks expressed mutual admiration in the wake of the news.

The Knighthawks appear ready to roll with Angus Goodleaf as their No. 1 netminder. Shortly after the Vinc news broke, Rochester announced it had re-signed Goodleaf, who has never been a full-time starter in his nine-year NLL career.

Dawson, the 16-year veteran who has won NLL MVP (2009) and NLL championship MVP (2014) awards, signed a one-year deal with the San Diego Seals — an expansion team that has secured some impressive talent for its inaugural season.

2. Giving Tuesday shed light on the efforts of several lacrosse-related charities and non-profit organizations.

And while its mission may not tug at the heartstrings quite like those examples, the Iron Dukes Varsity Club got a major boost from Duke men’s lacrosse supporters.

3. The IWLCA and IMLCA, the college coaches associations for women’s and men’s lacrosse, respectively, announced new venues for their signature recruiting events Tuesday. The IWLCA Presidents Cup, which the U.S. women’s national team recently headlined, is relocating to West Palm Beach, Fla., while the IMLCA National Cup will be in West Windsor, N.J.

4. Milwaukee boasts a budding lacrosse scene that US Lacrosse and local volunteers hope will soon include the first youth team inside city limits.
