Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. Jared Bernhardt’s incredible 2021 just keeps getting better.
The Tewaaraton Award winner who set countless season and career statistical marks in his final season at Maryland is now tearing up the gridiron at Division II powerhouse Ferris State.
Bernhardt, the team’s starting quarterback, was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s player of the year after posting 25 total touchdowns in just seven games.

2. The Premier Lacrosse League has a new home.
John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal reported Tuesday that the PLL is in negotiations with ESPN. The league is expected to announce the deal, which would transition all of its broadcast rights to ESPN, in the coming weeks.
ESPN would then own the rights to the NLL and PLL while also being the home for NCAA tournament lacrosse.
The PLL has been lauded for the quality of its NBC broadcasts, and it’s too soon to know how a move to ESPN will impact production.
