Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. A new era of lacrosse
World Lacrosse launched Tuesday a new version of the game, called “Sixes,” that features a fast-paced, 6-vs.-6 format. The new discipline will be displayed this summer from the U.S. national teams and will serve as the format for the 2022 World Games.

2. The Division I Men’s All-Americans are out. Let the debate begin.
USA Lacrosse Magazine unveiled its First, Second and Third Team All-Americans on Tuesday, led by Jared Bernhardt, Chris Gray and Pat Kavanagh as the First Team attack. Other notables First Teamers include Graham Bundy Jr., Mike Sisselberger and Jake Kielty.

3. The Division I Women’s All-Americans are also out.
Three Tewaaraton finalists fill up the First Team attack — Charlotte North, Izzy Scane and Jamie Ortega. The only non-ACC or Northwestern First Teamers were Stony Brook’s Ally Kennedy, Florida’s Shannon Kavanagh and UConn's Sydney Watson.

4. St. Paul’s (Md.) topped McDonogh (Md.) in the IAAM-A championship game and jumps up in the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls National Top 25.

5. St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) picked up a pair of big wins last week, affirming its spot atop the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25.
Manhasset (N.Y.) topped Garden City (N.Y.) to jump into the top 5 this week. Check out the full national rankings here.
6. Loyola’s Sam Shafer and Stony Brook’s Taryn Ohlmiller are the Division I Players of the Week.
Shafer earns the honor after stopping 16 shots against Denver, including the game-winning save with seconds left.
Ohlmiller dropped a program NCAA tournament record 12 points in a win over Rutgers.
