Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Jake Carraway and Ryan Tierney are on fire. The fifth-year seniors continued their searing start to the season Tuesday.

Carraway became Georgetown’s all-time leading scorer (237 career points) with five goals and two assists in the fourth-ranked Hoyas’ 17-5 win at Mount St. Mary’s. He moved past Greg McCavera (1996-99), whose school record stood for 22 years

Tierney set two career records in No. 20 Hofstra’s 18-6 win over Wagner, eclipsing Tom Kessler (1999-2001) as Hofstra’s all-time goals leader and Delaware’s Curtis Dickson (2007-10) as the CAA’s all-time points leader. Tierney’s six-goal performance gave him 144 goals and 216 points.

Carraway (16 goals, seven assists) and Tierney (23 goals, seven assists) each are averaging more than seven points per game.

Not to be outdone, Robert Morris’ Ryan Smith broke his own school single-game record with 11 points (five goals, six assists) in the Colonials’ 17-8 win over Bellarmine.

Tuesday Scores
No. 4 Georgetown 17, Mount St. Mary’s
No. 20 Hofstra 18, Wagner 6
Robert Morris 17, Bellarmine 8

2. Boston College defeated UMass 19-7 in a top-20 women’s matchup Tuesday. The red-hot Eagles, ranked No. 11 in the latest Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Women’s Top 20, improved to 3-0 and avenged last year’s season-opening loss.

Jenn Medjid scored five goals and Caitlynn Mossman had four assists for BC, who rolled past UMass despite relatively modest contributions from star attackers Charlotte North and Cara Urbank (two goals apiece).

Tuesday Scores
No. 11 Boston College 19, No. 16 UMass 7

3. It’s Charlotte North week here at US Lacrosse Magazine.

North, the highlight-making and Internet-breaking sensation, appears on the cover of our March edition arriving in US Lacrosse members’ mailboxes Thursday. She’s also this week’s guest on “Overtime” with Paul Carcaterra. Listen this morning on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

4. US Lacrosse is working with the Nation United Foundation and Black Lacrosse Alliance to support WE STAND, an initiative promoting anti-harassment and anti-racism in sports.

5. Taylor Cummings made her debut as a US Lacrosse Magazine columnist Tuesday, identifying her top performers from the weekend as well as her top 10 teams.

6. Encouraging news out of the Division III ranks: The Liberty League will have spring sports. The conference includes two teams each in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division III Men’s Preseason Top 20 (No. 3 RIT and No. 17 RPI) and the Nike/US Lacrosse Division III Women’s Preseason Top 20 (No. 16 Ithaca and No. 20 William Smith). Competition will begin the weekend of March 26.

7. Atlas LC is in total rebuild mode. After trading away stalwarts Rob Pannell and Paul Rabil, the Premier Lacrosse League team dealt Ryan Brown to Waterdogs LC in exchange for the 11th overall pick in the upcoming college draft, which will be loaded with fifth-year seniors as well as this year’s class. Atlas now possesses the first, eighth, 10th, 11th, 17th, and 26th overall picks in the April 6 draft.
