Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The 2020 World Lacrosse Men’s U19 World Championship was the latest lacrosse event to be altered during to the worldwide pandemic of the coronavirus. World Lacrosse announced on Tuesday that the event will not be held in 2020. The organization and member countries will discuss potential solutions beginning next month.
2. Bates alum Jack Allard, a 2016 USILA All-American, is in critical condition in a medically-induced coma as he fights COVID-19. USLM contributor Jonathan Sigal spoke with Bates head coach Peter Lasagna.

3. Duke is honoring Jimmy Regan all week after the team’s annual Lead the Way game was canceled. Regan, a Duke lacrosse alum, was an Army Ranger killed in Iraq in 2007. We share our story from 2014 on another Duke alum, Casey Carroll, who was inspired to follow Regan into the Army Rangers.
4. Raised by his mother, Syracuse faceoff specialist Jakob Phaup has overcome ADHD with his mother serving as his rock.

5. It’s been nearly two weeks since Virginia found out it would not get the opportunity to defend its national championship. Two weeks that have provided little clarity about what the future holds.
6. Penn State star Grant Ament joined Paul Carcaterra on this week’s Overtime podcast to discuss his decision to move on with the next chapter of his life.
7. Country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood performed a live concert on Facebook Live on Monday night before more than 3.4 million viewers. Brooks wore a Detroit Mercy lacrosse sweatshirt during the concert. Brooks met with a group of Detroit Mercy students last month.
