Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. The dream start to 2022 continues for Harvard.

Just three days after topping Brown in Ivy League play, the Crimson hosted crosstown rival Boston U in a matchup between ranked teams. Harvard used a pair of three-goal runs to stay in front and hold on for a 13-10 victory over the Terriers. Sam King dropped four goals to lead the Crimson to their second straight win over a ranked opponent.

Also in men’s action, Ohio State used a five-goal third quarter to pull away for a 12-6 victory over Dartmouth.

2. Stony Brook made it three straight wins in a rout.

The Seawolves got five points from Ellie Masera and six from Kailyn Hart to blow out Brown 15-3. Elsewhere in women’s lacrosse, Sydney Watson and Kate Shaffer each scored six goals to lead UConn to a 16-11 win over Albany.

4. Nakeie Montgomery on Overtime?

The Duke men’s lacrosse star and one-time Blue Devils’ football player shared his lacrosse story with Paul Carcaterra on Season 5, Episode 2 of the “Overtime” podcast. The two All-Americans had a candid and raw conversation about Montgomery’s aspirations and why he feels this game could be more diverse.

5. Kara Rahaim was clutch for Stanford against USC.

The Cardinal goalie made 19 saves, stopping 57.6 percent of her shots, in a 15-14 overtime win over the Trojans over the weekend. She made two stops on the possession before Stanford scored the game-winning goal.

She’s the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women’s Player of the Week.

6. Chris Brown put Princeton on his back against Penn.

Brown dropped nine points on six goals and three assists, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead Princeton to a 21-20 win over Penn.

For that effort, he earned USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Men’s Player of the Week honors.
