1. Denver and Virginia Tech won comfortably in women’s lacrosse on Tuesday.

No. 10 Denver battle through a tough test from Fairfield for the 15-10 victory thanks to seven goals and three assists from Bea Behrins. No. 18 Virginia Tech blew past Furman 21-10 behind six goals from Olivia Vergano.

2. Bucknell survives a thriller with Penn State in Tuesday men’s action.

The Bison led by as many as four goals in the fourth quarter, but had to withstand a late Nittany Lions rally for a 12-11 win in Lewisburg, Pa. Alston Tarry had three goals in the victory, while freshman Connor Davis finished with two goals.

In other action, Ross Scott dropped four goals and three assists to lead Rutgers to the 22-10 win over Lafayette.

3. Denver’s Sam Thacker is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Women’s Player of the Week.

Thacker combined for eight caused turnovers, three ground balls and four draw controls over two games last week. Click here for more on her big week.

4. Overtime with Paul Rabil dropped Tuesday.

In the almost two-hour conversation with Paul Carcaterra, Rabil shared plenty of stories about his career at Johns Hopkins and in pro lacrosse, why he remains loyal to Dave Pietramala and what the future holds for the PLL.

5. Boston U’s Roy Meyer was all over the field in a win over Bucknell last weekend.
