Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1.  Another Top 10 opponent, another big win for Florida. Since losing its season opener to North Carolina, Florida has won six straight games. That's impressive in its own right, but three of those games have come against Top 10 opponents — USC, Stony Brook and Syracuse. Even more impressive, those Top 10 victories have all come by at least five goals. On Tuesday, the No. 3 Gators rolled past Syracuse 19-12 as Lindsey Ronbeck had a career-high six goals and Mollie Stevens tied the Florida single game record with five caused turnovers. In other action on Tuesday:

• No. 2 North Carolina downed No. 14 Elon 15-5 behind its star power. Molly Hendrick had four goals, Sammy Jo Tracy had 12 draw controls and Caylee Waters made nine saves.

• Bryan Hancock had six points (4g, 2a) as Hobart beat Canisius 18-11 in the only men's Division I game not cancelled due to the weather.

• Ithaca, ranked No. 9 in Division III women's lacrosse team rallied from a six-goal deficit to beat No. 2 Trinity 11-10 at Vanderbilt during a spring break trip. Ally Runyon had three of her game-high four goals during a five-goal Ithaca run in the second half.

2. The latest Nike/US Lacrosse national and regional rankings for high school boys and high school girls lacrosse are out. On the girls side, No. 1 McDonogh (Md.) is headed to an interesting spring break trip, playing two of the South's top programs — Vero Beach (Fla.) and Milton (Ga.), along with the Hill Academy from Canada.

3. The U.S. women's team is chasing more than gold this summer when it heads to England and Poland. In addition to the FIL World Cup, lacrosse will make its first appearance in the International World Games.

4. Nick Rose was a back-up in the National Lacrosse League before he got his chance in Toronto. Rose now has an NLL-best 9.45 goals against average in helping the Rock to a 6-4 mark.

What We’re Reading

• Got lacrosse? The lacrosse emoji may not be here just yet, but die-hard lacrosse fans can find a way around that thanks to star player Paul Rabil, his CTO Neil Savage (a former US Lacrosse staffer) and his former Lizards teammate Mike Stone. They’ve created a lacrosse emoji keyboard.

• Albany had some success on the field — reaching the NLL championship game in 2002 — but not as much at the box office when the Attack played there from 2000-2003. Could the NLL be coming back to New York’s capital city?

• Virginia Tech’s breakthrough season in women’s lacrosse has even included a visit from the school’s legendary retired football coach Frank Beamer. Beamer visited the team after an overtime loss to Elon, and the Hokies haven’t loss since. What was Beamer’s advice?

Kerrigan Miller has some international experience of her own as a member of the 2015 U.S. U19 team, and earlier this week the USC star showed some world-class ability with this no look goal against New Hampshire.
