Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. ​Another wild Tuesday night in men’s college lacrosse.

Ohio State highlighted the day’s action, coming back from down a goal in the final two minutes and taking down Notre Dame 13-11. Trailing by one with 1:52 left, Jackson Reid tied the game, Leclaire scored 24 seconds later and then Leclaire iced the win with yet another man-up goal with 14 seconds left. It’s a big nonconference win for the Buckeyes before Big Ten play.

Also notable from Tuesday’s action:

• North Carolina avoided an upset bid from Bryant, trailing at the half but using a third-quarter surge to win 18-16 in Chapel Hill. Zach Tucci won a school-record 25 faceoffs, and Chris Gray chipped in four goals and four assists. 

• Johns Hopkins nearly dropped its fifth straight game, but a furious fourth-quarter rally sent the game against Mount St. Mary’s to overtime, where Owen Murphy won it to move the Blue Jays to 2-4. Johns Hopkins trailed by as many as four goals in the fourth quarter.

• UMass survived a tough test from LIU, Duke blew out Jacksonville and Penn State handled Furman.

2. American history was made on Tuesday night.

In a 19-9 win over Presbyterian, American's Casey Harkins set single-game program records with 11 assists and 12 points and notched her 34^thassist of the season, all new records. Emma Vinall scored a program-record nine goals in the win.

Also in action Tuesday, Kerstin Kimel faced off with daughter, Caroline, in a 16-6 Duke win over East Carolina. Assistant Ron Caputo also got to coach against his daughter, Sam. What a family affair. Florida picked up a 17-9 win over Navy, as well.

3. The coronavirus outbreak has impacted the college lacrosse season.

Tuesday, Amherst and Middlebury, both NESCAC schools, announced the universities will suspend the spring sports seasons amid concerns of the spread of the virus. That includes both men’s and women’s lacrosse teams, all four of which are currently ranked in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division III polls.

Later Tuesday night, Tufts announced the cancellation of all spring sports for the semester. Tufts president Tony Monaco also said in a statement that "following a decision of the NESCAC presidents, the NESCAC league and championship play are canceled.” The Jumbos tied a program record Tuesday night with 26 goals in a blowout win over Ithaca.

4. First, it was Rob Pannell. Now, it’s 15 other players joining the PLL.

The league dropped the rest of the names eligible for Monday’s PLL Entry Draft. Names like Zach Currier, Dillon Ward and Jesse Bernhardt will join their PLL teams next week. Check out the full list of players here.

5. McDonogh (Md.) jumps 15 spots in the Nike/US Lacrosse High Boys National Top 25.

After topping Gonzaga (D.C.) last week, McDonogh was the biggest mover in the rankings.

6. American Heritage-Delray has started the 2020 season strong.

As a result, Caitlyn Wurzburger and her team have moved up in the Nike/US Lacrosse High School Girls National Top 25.
