1. World Lacrosse welcomed Saudi Lacrosse as its 70^th member nation.

The news dropped on Tuesday afternoon, making Saudi Lacrosse the seventh member nation added in the past year. It joins Qatar as the second Middle Eastern nation to become a World Lacrosse member nation.

2. Six news teams make an appearance in the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Girls’ National Top 25.

Unionville (Pa.), Skaneateles (N.Y.), Glenelg Country (Md.), Loyola Academy (Ill.), Eastport-South Manor (N.Y.) and Garnet Valley (Pa.) entered the National Top 25.

3. There’s another new No. 1 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse High School Boys’ National Top 25.

St. Anthony’s (N.Y.) topped Chaminade (N.Y.) to win its second straight CHSAA Class AAA championship and move into the top spot in the rankings.

4. Alex Rode came up clutch when Virginia needed him the most.

Rode, whose habit of heroics has overshadowed his reliability for Virginia, did not have his best day on Monday, but made the save that sealed another national championship.
