Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:
1. The Women’s World Lacrosse Championship is officially one year away.
US Lacrosse will welcome 29 other nations to Towson, Md., next summer for the 2021 Women’s World Championship. Yesterday, US Lacrosse and women’s national team social channels highlighted messages from former players and integrated Instagram Live Q&A’s to help get the excitement started.

No host team has ever won the tournament. The United States could be the first once competing nations descend on Towson next July.
2. Major League Lacrosse rosters are set.
The league’s 25-man rosters for the 20th anniversary season were announced Tuesday. Should a player on the 25-man roster test positive for COVID during the league’s shortened season beginning July 18, the team may activate one of its five reserve players.

The tournament opens July 25 with a 4 p.m. (ET) showdown between the Whispnakes and Redwoods in a rematch of last year’s title game. See the full schedule here.
4. Katrina Dowd is leaving North Carolina.
It’s unclear where she’ll land after spending six years as an assistant at Chapel Hill.
5. Former Amherst coach Jon Thompson is joining Air Force.
Thompson, who left Amherst in March after an incident of racism within the team, will replace John Grant Jr. as Air Force’s offensive coordinator, Inside Lacrosse reports.

6. Former Army volunteer coach Rick Lewis is joining Ohio State.
Chris Jastrzembski first reported the news on Twitter. Lewis, an Ohio State alum, will become a full-time assistant for the Buckeyes.

Lewis, an Ohio State alum, spent the past 2 years working with Army after making a stop at Lambert (GA) as their offensive coordinator.
