3. Chris Hogan is on the move.
The former NFL wide receiver and Penn State lacrosse alum was traded to Whipsnakes LC along with Drew Simoneau in exchange for Kevin Reisman. The news was first reported by Pro Football Talk.
Hogan, who was not drafted and then picked up by the Boston Cannons during the waiver period, played in one PLL game thus far—an overtime loss against the Whipsnakes in Week 2. Now, he’ll try to crack the Whips’ gameday roster gain a surer footing in the league.
In other transaction news, the Cannons will look to bolster its offense by adding Christian Cuccinello from the player pool and rookie Jamie Trimboli off the Redwoods’ reserve roster. Cuccinello previously played for the Archers and Waterdogs and Trimboli will be reunited with former Syracuse teammate Stephen Rehfuss.
