Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1.  Athletes Unlimited held the draft last night for its inaugural slate of games coming up this weekend. Angie Benson, Meg Douty, Kylie Ohlmiller and Katie O’Donnell were the captains and made the selections for their respective teams. Taylor Cummings was the first overall pick.

The league also revealed its scoring system where individual players can rack up points.

2. Former U.S. gold medalist Alex Aust, who is slated to play in Athletes Unlimited this summer, found out she’s in this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Aust shared her story of empowerment with Lauren Merola.

3. J.B. Clarke, who won a pair of NCAA Division II men’s lacrosse championships at Limestone, is headed to Tampa to replace Rory Whipple, who retired last month.

4. Wiemi Douoguih was an All-American at Washington and Lee. Now, he’s an orthopedic surgeon who worked with two of the biggest names in the profession — Dr. Frank Jobe and Dr. James Andrew. He shares his story in Life After Lax from our championship edition of the print magazine.
