•  USA Today profiles Jessica Berman, the NLL’s deputy commissioner, the highest-ranking female in a men’s professional sports league.

• Remember when Syracuse made the men’s final four every year? The Orange haven’t been there since 2013, but expectations are high for 2020. Lindsay Kramer of the Post-Standard reports from media day.

• Former Maryland star Caroline Steele has been hired as an assistant coach at St. Joseph’s.
