1. USA Lacrosse Magazine highlighted the best of the best at each position ahead of the upcoming 2022 spring season with its Division III Men’s and Women’s Preseason Positional Players of the Year.

The lists are headlined by a pair of Jumbos. On the men’s side, Tufts attackman Mac Bredahl. On the women’s side preseason goalie of the year Molly Laliberty is the reigning NESCAC Player of the Year after stopping 112 of the 188 shots she faced in 2021.

• Lacrosse Panama earned its second consecutive World Lacrosse Sixes tournament title over the weekend at the Torneo Centroamericano Bicentenario Sixes Lacrosse with a 22-15 victory over Colombia in the championship game.

• IL Women features No. 1 incoming freshman Mallory Hasselbeck, who will team up with her sister, Annabelle, for Boston College.

• UVA Today on how Will Barrow’s memory lives on through the flag football tournament the Virginia men’s lacrosse team holds in his honor. This fall, the Will Barrow Memorial Flag Football Tournament raised a record $51,800, roughly twice as much as the previous high, for the UVA HELP Line and Harlem Lacrosse.
